All About Therapy
Professional and Relatable Therapist
Are you looking for an experienced and relatable therapist? I am a naturally curious person and fascinated by the complexities of what it is to be human and the human experience. Much of my work centers around story telling - we all have a narrative we're trying to make sense of. Exploring personal stories, reflecting on them, changing these narratives, and sharing them might make us vulnerable, but also helps us heal and grow. I approach my sessions like a conversation and blend together reflection, education, skill building with a healthy dose of humor.
It feels natural and right for me to be in the position of a caring, accepting, and compassionate provider and it is a privilege to be apart of a client's path to growth and healing. I believe therapy provides possibilities for reflection, acceptance and discovery. Creating a safe, therapeutic environment and fostering a collaborative relationship can give way to endless opportunities to learn and heal.
I have an eclectic work history in the mental health field and have worked in both administrative and clinical roles since 2011. I am currently providing individual therapy services via telehealth. I work with adults and have experience treating a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, life transitions, brain-gut health issues, women's issues, burnout, mood or emotional problems, trauma, substance abuse, grief and loss and existential crisis. Whether you’re looking for a bit of counseling, or need professional assistance to make meaningful changes - your wellbeing is my number one priority. I believe in personalizing care to meet individual needs and strive to create a safe and collaborative experience that will give way to growth and acceptance.
I completed my graduate training at Southern New Hampshire University in 2017. I received a Master's of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and hold a license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Wisconsin. I maintain regular clinical supervision and professional development to enhance the quality of my work.
